Most landscape photographers do whatever is needed to exclude people in their photos. I have to admit I was a photographer like that also. Even in my cityscape photographs I didn’t want to see people. I had the patience to wait 10 to 20 minutes before I was able to take the photo without people.
Nowadays I find myself including people more often in the photos. I think a photo can be more interesting with people, although it really depends on the way you include them. Watch this photography tutorial for a great example how to include a person in a cityscape photograph.
