As the subtitle announces, this is a book for beginners. Nevertheless, it is an essential pierce of work that should suit photographers of all levels. Even if you dominate the settings of your camera, the peculiarities of each photographic style can sometimes make that photo you are trying to master, tough! I say this because the second part of the book approaches each style individually and gives you easy and clear tips to photograph the many faces of landscape & nature, animals, people, city, and more with perfection.

“First Aid for Photographers” is a great e-book for any beginner to learn the concepts of photography and your camera without technical jargon to confuse you.
It is well written, easy to understand with adequate explanations and examples for each topic covered a summary is also provided at the end which will help you to quickly adjust your settings in the field if required. Would recommend this e-book to anyone just starting out on their photographic journey.

Well, I’m a mobile photographer but likely to purchase a DSLR in coming months. “First Aid for Photographers” is a very good e-book for me.
As a beginner, I’ll be able to use my DSLR without any issues as this guide helped me understanding various elements of camera, how to use them and when to use.
It also gave the ideas how to take photos in different scenarios, what angle we need to beautify the moment more, etc.
Hence, this is a guide that every beginner should have all the time.

I consider myself an intermediate amateur photographer and I was reviewing this book, ‘First Aid For Photographers’, as a textbook for beginners, it fills this role admirably and I came away with learning quite a few things that will help me in my leisure photography. The author uses an easy style of explanation without any technical jargon and each subject is backed up with a summary ‘cheat sheet’ that can be used as a quick reference for that particular style of photography. I think the cost is reasonable if you take into account the amount of information that it contains and I can recommend it for making full use of your new camera.
